Echo Hills was the street Devin grew up on in Arkansas. It was home—and when we started thinking about what to call this company, the name felt like a natural reminder of where we came from and what we wanted to build.
After more than a decade working across residential and multifamily construction, Devin was ready for a new kind of opportunity—one that would allow him to put everything he'd learned into practice while creating more flexibility for our family.
So we started Echo Hills.
Today, we're a family-owned residential construction company helping Dallas-area families improve the homes they already love. We believe homeowners deserve a contractor who knows the work, communicates clearly, and treats their home with the same care and respect we'd want for our own.

Before founding Echo Hills, Devin spent more than 10 years in construction, building experience from nearly every side.
He began in the field and went on to work in estimating, preconstruction, project management, and supervision—giving him a practical understanding of what it takes to plan, budget, coordinate, and successfully complete a project.
Over the course of his career, Devin has helped lead more than 20 residential and multifamily projects ranging from $3 million to $15 million+, including large-scale multifamily and townhome developments throughout the Dallas area.
That experience shapes how he approaches every Echo Hills project: plan carefully, communicate clearly, anticipate problems, and take responsibility for the details.
But starting Echo Hills isn't just about putting that experience to work.
It's about building a company we're proud to put our family name behind.

We're Devin and Catherine Wells. We're originally from Arkansas, and today we're raising our two daughters here in the Dallas area.
Like many families, our home is where most of life happens. It's where we're together at the end of a long day, where our girls are growing up, and where the ordinary moments become the memories we keep.
That's shaped the way we think about remodeling and home renovation.
